PSLLC Welcomes Rhonda Rulnick to Our Staff Rhonda Rulnick, M.S., CCC-SLP joined Princeton Speech-Language and Learning Center with more than 19 years of experience as a “voice therapist” on a medical, voice-care team. This experience has afforded her the opportunity to treat a broad range of voice disorders, including much work with professional voice users. In addition, she has lectured to many groups, including medical / professional, academic and community. She completed her Master's degree in speech-language pathology at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Ms Rulnick has taken many hours of “continuing education” to always augment her fund of knowledge in her chosen area of specialty. More recently she took a course to become a certified provider of “Lee Silverman Voice Therapy” for Parkinson’s disease. Ms. Rulnick was employed as chief of speech-language pathology at Temple University Hospital before beginning her work as a “voice specialist” in 1984. She spent 7 years as an adjunct clinical supervisor at Temple University, supervising graduate students in their clinical voice practicum and their field work in adult rehabilitation settings. In addition to her work here at Princeton Speech-Language and Learning Center, she also works part-time at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia. Ms. Rulnick hopes to accomplish her mission of providing education and disseminating information about the nature of voice disorders, their prevention, and their treatment. |
