Wilson Reading System®
The Wilson Reading System® is a
complete reading and writing/spelling program that is systematic, organized,
and structured. The Wilson Reading System presents material utilizing a
multisensory approach. Skills are taught and reinforced using verbal, aural,
tactile, and visual cues, leading to success for children who have
previously struggled with reading.
Andrea Auerbach is a Wilson Specialist at PSLLC. She has a B.A. from New
York University, an M.S. in Special Teaching from the Bank Street College of
Education, and is a certified instructor of The Wilson Reading System.
Andrea has taught students with learning challenges for many years in the
New York City public school system. She has been a classroom and
resource room teacher as well as a teacher/consultant and an educational
evaluator in New York’s version of the Child Study Team. Her passion
is getting dyslexic children to read.
